Behind PhotoCON Hawaiʻi
The Noyle Foundation
A Hawaiʻi nonprofit dedicated to expanding creative education and opportunity across all islands.
Where it began
The Noyle Foundation was founded by Honolulu-based photographer Ric Noyle to address a longstanding gap in Hawaiʻi’s creative education landscape. What began in 2017 as a grassroots event called PhotoCON Hawaiʻi has grown into a statewide nonprofit — shaped by educators, industry professionals, and community partners committed to expanding creative access and opportunity across the islands.
Today, PhotoCON Hawaiʻi is the Foundation’s flagship educational program, reaching students and emerging creatives from Oʻahu to the Neighbor Islands.
