Lucarelli

James Lucarelli & Brad Watanabe: Stills Photographer Intro to Video

With the advent of digital cinematography and 6-8K cameras that can now capture magazine quality stills, many photographers are beginning to explore the possibilities of motion capture. Although the fundamentals remain similar, other aspects are likely unfamiliar. This workshop gives an overview of the key differences in order to make the “cinephotography” transition as simple as possible.

Lucarelli has 8 years at RED. SDSU Film School Alumni with an emphasis in Editing. Dedicated sales and tech support rep for Michael Prickett, WSL, VOLCOM, HAWAII CAMERA, Professional Sports teams and more. Currently owns and operates a small SoCal based production company that shoots on a 8K RED in my spare time. Surfing & Water Cinematography are my passion.

Speakers:
James Lucarelli, RED Road Warrior/Dean of Reducation
Brad Watanabe, Director, Producer, Camera

Metellus

Jerry Metellus: The Eternity of One Millisecond.

I’m speaking to the curious or discriminative photographer of any level, looking to acquire new techniques on how to capture the spontaneous moment where the magic happens. Whether it be in a lifestyle setting or capturing a dancer in motion, let’s seize the moment forever.

“Las Vegas based photographer, Jerry Metellus, is where he belongs: in The City of Entertainment. With his background as a former actor/dancer and model, Jerry has pulled from that well of experiences and injected it all into his photographic world. WIth this platform, he manages to get his celebrity and non-celebrity, dancing and non-dancing, clients in the space they need to be, to create that instant visual message. His success in communicating with his subjects helped land him countless magazine spreads, a featured spot on the famed America’s Next Top Model on three separate occasions, along with a list of ad campaigns. Many of his images grace billboards of the Las Vegas skyline. Jerry loves to share his knowledge and experience. Come in and get a nice serving.”
