Chief Charles Werner - Droneresponders Workshop

Chief Charles Werner

Director
DRONERESPONDERS

Workshop Date: March 18th

Time: 4pm – 5:30pm

Workshop Description: Drones for good and public safety.

What is DRONERESPONDERS, the resources available and how you can participate?

The many public safety drone use cases and how drones are transforming public safety operations.

About

Chief Charles Werner will be discussing how drone technology is transforming public safety for the better; fire, emergency management, and law enforcement agencies use drones every day to provide situational awareness during demanding emergency situations. Obtaining real-time awareness in dangerous scenarios results in better outcomes, greater accountability, and increased leadership involvement in events as they unfold.

Throughout the U.S. and around the world you see them launching unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) into the sky during various types of emergencies and incidents. These are the DRONERESPONDERS, and our ranks are growing every day as more organizations continue to embrace UAS for public safety missions.

DRONERESPONDERS is a non-profit program created to unite these new aerial first responders, emergency managers, and search and rescue specialists under a unified organization to help learn, train, and test with one another with the ultimate objective of maximizing drone operations for public safety.

Jon Lorentz: Canon: Canon: Models & Natural Light, Photo Walk

It’s easy to get caught up in the plethora of lighting options available to a photographer this day and age, but one source remains true—the sun. Imagine if you will, you’re en route to an amazing location and your batteries die, your reflector tears, or, you forgot that ONE cord you needed for off-camera flash—things happen. So let’s take a step back and look at how to plan for the worst and achieve the best.

Bring your camera and join Canon’s Jon Lorentz and learn tips and tricks for shooting with the sun and working with your subject. Featuring stunning locations and models from the Bliss Model Agency, this is one event you won’t want to miss!
